QDBug Guide

QDBug is a simple and easy to use bug and incident tracker.

QDBug uses phpBB3 as it's back-end. See requirements.

Incident and bug tracking is enabled by defining forums as either bug or incident forums.

The primary difference between bug and incident tracking forums is visibility and accessibility. Incident tickets can only be listed and accessed by a forum's moderators or the ticket originator. Incidents track your private incident correspondence with your clients. Bugs, on the other hand, are for public consumption.

History and auditing
User's or moderators viewing tickets have the option to only view the ticket history. The ticket history includes only those posts that have caused status changes to the ticket.

Status changes are implemented by posting replies to the ticket topic. Each post that changes the status or properties of a ticket are suffixed with an audit.
